What Therapy Really Looks Like
Let’s break a myth:
Therapy isn’t lying on a couch while someone silently judges your every word.
In my online therapy room, it looks more like this:
You, in your pyjamas.
A mug of tea in hand.
A quiet space where you can pause, breathe, and show up exactly as you are.
Sometimes we’ll talk about your childhood.
Sometimes about your boss, your partner, or that weird ache in your chest you can’t explain.
Other times, we’ll sit with silence until the right words come.
No pressure. No performance. No perfect version of you required.
Because therapy isn’t about fixing you; it's about getting curious.
Peeling back the layers.
Noticing your patterns.
And gently asking: what if it didn’t have to be this hard?
You might cry.
You might laugh.
You might feel uncomfortable.
But you’ll never be alone in it.
My sessions are a mix of compassion, clarity, and the occasional well-placed swear word.
Because I’m a human too. And I believe the most healing happens in spaces that feel real.
If you’ve been wondering whether therapy could actually feel safe, warm, and yes, even a little cozy; this is your sign.
Come as you are.
Let’s make a cup of tea.
And begin.
